WonderWorks provides an innovative educational approach to the summer day camp experience. Kids work in small groups to develop hands on solutions to projects with real outcomes. They bring their imaginations to life and are immersed in a world of fairies, buccaneers, crime fighters, performers, and mad scientists (see Adventures for details)

Together the kids build new friendships -- enriched by shared adventures and community circle activities. In the peace and wide spaces of the forest, kids are given time and space to be reflective. They practice yoga, developing a new awareness of themselves (see Program for details).

WonderWorks outdoor program balances conservation/ecology activities and team-building exercises. Outdoor program encourages students to serve the environment -- fighting erosion, composting lunch, and conserving water. Team building activities include cooperative problem-solving challenges and group games.
